Ms. Carter’s practice often includes drafting wills and trusts, structuring tax-efficient transactions, and advising on partnership and corporate tax issues. A large part of Ms. Carter’s work focuses on estate planning and administration, guiding clients on the tax consequences of transitioning ownership of property or a family business, and handling corporate tax issues related to forming, operating, or selling a business entity.
